A. Coupons are for attracting customers who are not familiar with the shop, and therefore are probably reluctant to trust it with a big job. Best to discount simple services or mandatory warranty services. The coupon should express that the shop is knowledgeable, honest, reliable, dedicated to high quality work, and they'll guarantee the work they do. That guarantee part is the deal maker for many people. Honoring most warranties helps too. I have a great mechanic for my favorite ride, so that would have to be one stellar coupon to get me to take my baby there. I have a couple of "beaters" (crummy cars) that I'll take to the cheapest place that can do decent work, so cars like that might be easier to get in with a coupon.

A. No, it is one coupon and see if there is an assortment. Some of ours might say "3 for $4.99 assorted" and on offer may be several flavours of the product. In this case I am talking about Bluebird Potato Chips. That means you could buy 3 or the same flavour or one of 3 flavours. If it was to be a particularly good buy and you had 2 coupons you could buy 6 bags. In this case there are 6 flavours so you could get one of each, or how many of which you want. I am not trying to sell anything and if you look at those prices you will see they are astronomical when you compare that with what I have quoted from one of our weekly fliers. You should be able to relate that to the items you are thinking of.

A. They'll give you the $10 item for free. That's the way stores always run those type of promotions. You should go through the checkout, buy the $20 and the $15 item (so you get the $15 one for free), and then go back through the checkout again to buy your $10 item.

I went to Bashas today to buy a Pepsi Max with my coupon that was .55 cents off and as I wanted to buy seven of the 2 liter pepsi the chashier lady told me "you can only use one coupon for one pepsi per purchase and thats it you cannot use any more coupons for any more pepsi's". So I just said well I'll just buy one pepsi then. So she also said the purchase means only one coupon in a single purchase. So that ment I have to purchase one pepsi seven times. Because of this I just said well take six of those pepsi's back and I'll just purchase one with one coupon. Tell me was this right or not. A. I don't get what's so difficult to understand here. 1 coupon per Pepsi. That means you can only take $.55 off of one Pepsi, not 7 Pepsis. This is standard. 1 coupon per purchase. That means that even if you had 7 coupons, you cannot use them all in one purchase. This is pretty standard for larger discounts. If you want 6 more Pepsis at $.55 off, you get 6 more coupons and do 6 more separate transactions. On coupons where you can apply it to several products, it usually says "Up to 3" or "Limit 3 with coupon".

I do know that I try and keep up to date with yelp.com, I dunno if you know about it but if not it's a review site and let's you read everyone's reviews on local resturants, bars, clubs - etc. A lot of time people even have the up to date drama behind some places. It's a good resource and I've even found out about a few good places I haven't seen yet and I've been here all my life.
